Cancer Registries

Description

Both Scotland and England maintain their own population level Cancer Registries. These contain information on all new diagnoses of cancer occurring. In Scotland, the Scottish Cancer Registry (also called Scottish Morbidity Record 06 or SMR06) data are collected by Public Health Scotland. In England, these data are captured by the National Cancer Registration and Analysis Service (NCRAS) within Public Health England.
